1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AutoSavvy ("Service," "we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AutoSavvy is an AI-powered used car pricing and deal analysis platform. The Service provides:

Free Deal Score (0–100): An AI-generated score estimating how well a used car listing is priced relative to current market conditions.
$1.49 Vehicle Intelligence Report: A detailed paid report including known issues, market comparables, 3-year total cost of ownership estimates, recall history, and negotiation guidance.
Pro Subscription ($9.99/month): Unlimited deal scores, priority access, and unlimited full reports.
VIN Decoding: Free vehicle specification lookup via NHTSA data.
Photo Inspection: AI-powered damage detection from uploaded vehicle photos.

3. User Accounts

You may use the free Deal Score without an account. An account is required to save deals, purchase reports, and access Pro features.

You must provide a valid email address and maintain account security.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You may not share accounts or create multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Free vs. Paid Features

Free Tier

The free Deal Score is provided at no charge, subject to rate limits (3 scores per day per IP). Rate limits exist to prevent abuse and ensure service availability for all users. Free tier users get a 1-day Pro trial on signup — no credit card required.

$1.49 Per-Report Pricing

Full Vehicle Intelligence Reports are purchased per vehicle at $1.49 USD. Payment is processed via Stripe. Reports are generated immediately upon successful payment. See our Refund Policy for terms on report purchases.

Pro Subscription

Pro subscribers pay $9.99/month (or the current listed price at time of subscription). Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. You may cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or systematically access the Service via automated tools
Attempt to reverse-engineer our scoring algorithms
Upload malicious files or content designed to harm our systems
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
Create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits or the free trial
Resell or redistribute reports without permission

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Deal scores and reports are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional automotive advice. AutoSavvy is not a certified inspection service, licensed dealer, or financial advisor. Scores represent AI analysis of pricing data and should not be the sole basis for any purchase decision.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF PRICING DATA. Market conditions change rapidly. A deal score reflects data available at the time of analysis.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUTOSAVVY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

8. Intellectual Property

AutoSavvy and its content — including the scoring algorithm, report format, and website design — are owned by AutoSavvy. You may use reports for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce or distribute reports for commercial use without written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@autosavvy.app.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court. Class action lawsuits are waived.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post changes with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
